Sewable USB Type C Power Jack Connector

If you'd like to connect a USB-C connector to your favourite garment to make a fun wearable tech project, then try out the array of sewable connectors we have. This is a Type C connector that is oriented in a horizontal position to the sewable base it's housed on with red and black wires running through the bottom.Ā

The jack is moulded into rubber that can be hand or machine-sewed through. Then, it connects to the power wires on the end. Red is positive/power, and black is negative/ground. If desired, you can also glue/epoxy/staple it to a flat surface.

Please Note:Ā Like many USB-C cable adapters we've found, the CC lines are not tied to anything, so this will not respond properly to USB PD requests.Ā If you want to use it to charge aĀ device, make sure your power adapter will default to 5V output if CC is not connected.Ā Macs, specifically, areĀ picky about requiring CC lines.

We also stock a Micro BĀ and aĀ 5.5/2.1mm DC JackĀ version

Detector and cables areĀ NOTĀ included
