Picade Max Encoder (Volume Control)

Add a hardware volume control dial to Picade Max USB Audio!

Picade Max Encoder is a small board with a digital rotary encoder conveniently pre-attached. Connect it up to the 'Encoder' port on Picade Max USB Audio and adjust the volume of your homebrew arcade machine (or alternate cool DIY build), with no soldering required ✨ The encoder is also a button, so you can click it to mute/unmute.

It comes with the same snazzy black aluminium dial that we use in our Picade Max kit, and a 200mm Qwiic/JST-SH cable for plugging it in. If you need a longer cable, they're available here.

Picade Max USB Audio board is not included.

Notes

• This is not an I2C device! We've used a 4-pin JST-SH (Qwiic) connector for convenience but it's not compatible with the Qw/ST / Qwiic / STEMMA QT I2C ecosystem.
• Dimensions: 
  • Board measures 18 x 38 mm (L x W)
  • Total assembled height: 22mm (approx)
• The mounting holes are M2.5, inset 3mm from each edge (AKA 32x12 hole pattern).
