We've got battery holders for all sorts of needs and projects! Here's our latest addition in classy Adafruit black: 2 x AA Battery Holder with Knife Switch.
What's so special about 'em? Well with the knife switch you can easily control the flow of electricity to your project.
While there are many battery holders with slide switches, we think this is a unique and interesting take on the classic battery holder, and might be good for teaching students about open and closed circuits.
Use with two 1.5V alkaline cells for ~3V output, or use NiMH rechargeable cells for ~2.4V.
